Custom Horse & Pet Portraits

Ready for that custom horse or pet portrait you’ve been dreaming about? Great! I’m ready to paint it! I’d love to work with you on a painting that you’ll love and cherish for years to come.

How Painting Commissions Work

A brief overview of my custom pet portrait commission process.

  1. You schedule a consultation via Zoom or phone.
  2. We iron out the details (style, size, price, etc.) in the consultation.
  3. You send me photos to work from.
  4. You pay the 50% deposit and sign the Artist Contract.
  5. I get to work on your painting!
  6. I get in touch when your painting is ready.
  7. You pay the balance.
  8. I ship your painting.
  9. You fall in love with your new custom pet portrait!

What happens in the consultation?

Artist Jen Brandon

The consultation gives us a chance to make sure all your questions are answered. Custom portraits are very personal, and one of my favorite parts of being an artist is getting to know my clients and their beloved animals.

During the consultation, we talk about the details of your painting—the best size for your space, what style preferences you have, and the price.

I love my clients. And I’m honored to work with wonderful collectors all over the globe. You’re looking for a special painting to express that one-of-a-kind animal or person in your life, and I’m excited to put brush to canvas to create it for you.  Thanks for entrusting this special commission to me. This is going to be fun. Let’s make great art!
